Indus sales training teaches the sales call process, consultative questioning and objection handling in the classroom, then makes it stick with an AI role-play coach and 4–6 weeks of on-the-job coaching — the same method used with automotive dealer, telecom retail and FMCG distributor teams across India since 1996.
Who it is for
Front-line sellers who meet customers every day — showroom consultants, telecom retail executives, distributor salesmen, telesales and field executives — and the first-line managers who run them. Separate tracks exist for team leaders (coaching, beat planning, funnel reviews) and for sales managers (market analytics, coverage planning, capability building).
Outcomes we commit to
- A repeatable call structure every seller uses — opening, discovery, proposal, objection, close — visible in ride-alongs within four weeks.
- Measurable movement in the metric you choose at the start: conversion, calls per day, average ticket, secondary sales or appointment rate.
- Every participant certified on a scored role-play, not attendance.
How the programme runs
Part 1 is two classroom days on what to do: the sales call process, needs discovery, presenting value in the customer's language, handling the five objections your market actually raises, and closing. Every exercise uses your products, your price list and your competitors. Then comes the part most training companies skip: four to six weeks in the field with an Indus trainer, on joint calls and beat visits, with AI practice between visits. Part 2 is a follow-up day on how to do it — reviewing real calls, fixing what broke and setting the next targets.
Why Indus for sales training
Indus was founded by a sales leader, not a training company. Mukesh Khetarpal spent 19 years in sales roles at Tata Steel, Brooke Bond, United Spirits and Shaw Wallace before starting Indus in 1996; the method is what worked in the field. Today 340+ full-time trainers deliver it in 26 cities, in English and Hindi, for automotive, telecom, FMCG, banking and consumer-durables sales forces.

What the programme covers
Frequently asked
How long is a corporate sales training programme?
A typical Indus programme runs 2 days of classroom (Part 1: what to do), 4–6 weeks of on-the-job implementation with a dedicated trainer, then a 1-day follow-up (Part 2: how to do it). Short 1-day refreshers are available for teams already trained.
Do you train in Hindi?
Yes. Sessions run in English, Hindi or a mix depending on the audience, and the AI practice partner speaks both.
Can the programme be customised to our products and market?
Every programme is. We meet your sales leaders, ride along with the field, map the real objections and build the case studies and role-plays around your products, channel and territory.
How do you measure results?
Three ways: scored AI role-plays and assessments on Indus Smart LMS, trainer observation during the on-the-job phase, and the business metric you name at the start — calls per day, conversion, average ticket, secondary sales.
What size of team can you train?
From a 15-person cohort to nationwide roll-outs: Indus has 340+ full-time trainers in 26 cities and runs programmes for dealer and telecom retail networks with thousands of staff.
